Beckham County 4-H Shooters continue to stack wins

The Beckham County 4-H shotgun team wrapped up the season with a bang!Beckham County swept the Sporting Clay State Championship by winning both Senior and Intermediate divisions.

The Intermediate team capped off the year with the triple crown of championships by claiming the state sporting clay championship today (They have now won all 3 Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clay Champions for 2024) Squad members are Kruz Kilhoffer, Cooper Roberts, Kynsli Harman and Parker Loghberger.

The Senior Team made up of Caleb Stone, Landon Lohberger, Hudson Dyer and Dason Harman won the State championship Sporting Clay title today and with the help of Alex Orgain they also won the Trap Championship and 3rd place in Skeet earlier this fall.

Individually: Reed Tucker won the Sporting Clay intermediate division with a 46/50 Kruz Kilhoffer landed 3rd after a 2nd place tiebreaker.

Landon Lohberger is your State 4-H Hogh All Around Champion with the highest composite score in the three disciplines and he is also a 2 time national team qualifier, but can only go once.

Zeke Harless is the overall Junior State Champion in both trap and skeet.

Dason Harmon placed 4th overall and secured a spot on the national team that will compete for the national 4-H championship this June in Grand Island, Nebraska.

*For 3 years in a row now, Beckham County has had a national team qualifier!

Caleb Stone, last year national qualifier, finished 8th overall.
