An arrest warrant was issued through the Beckham County District Court on October 30 for a 39-year-old Elk City woman. A bond hasn’t been set yet for Keli Jo Aguilar. The investigation reportedly began on June 8 when Elk City Police received a call about alleged child abuse. The unnamed caller allegedly said Aguilar had used a power- washing spray wand to discipline a child.
The reporting detective wrote that an ECPD officer who was on the scene stated that visible injuries were present on the child.
The Oklahoma Department of Human Service was called and spoke with the child in question.
A witness reportedly confirmed the incident.
