Elk City’s Barber/Dyson Ford will be hosting their annual Veteran’s Day luncheon for the fifth consecutive year. This is one way of honoring the Western Oklahoma men and women who dedicated their lives to protecting United States citizens. The luncheon will take place in the dealership’s showroom on Nov. 11th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
They will be serving hamburgers and hotdogs hot off the grill, along with the trimmings. The event is being sponsored by Barber/Dyson, Hutch’s C Stores, and the American Legion Post 181. Gene Smith has been responsible for spearheading the luncheon to bring veterans together this one day, as well as encouraging them to connect with others who have served.
Corbin Dyson, General Manager of Barber/Dyson estimates that they have fed between 300 to 350 veterans during this event. He would encourage any and all veterans to come out Nov. 11th, to let the dealership honor all veterans, from all branches of the military.
