Long-term care residents have same rights as everyone

If you have a loved one that is a resident of a long-term care facility you know how important it is that you feel that they are taken care of with dignity and respect. A resident has the same rights as anyone in a non-long term care setting would have. Dignity, Respect and Courtesy Privacy Freedom from Abuse Individualized Care Plan Freedom to accept or refuse treatment.
