Elk City homeless man jailed for trespassing

A 31-year-old Elk City homeless man was jailed after being charged with trespassing.

At approximately 11:07 pm on October 10, Elk City Police responded to a call on the 1600 block of North Randall to a call alleging that Garrett Low was on the porch of a home that he had been criminally trespassed from.

He had reportedly been trespassed since 2019.

Upon arrival, an ECPD offi cer found Low sitting on the front porch.

The officer stated that he knew this to be Low from previous law enforcement encounters.

The officer instructed Low to come into the yard, which Low complied.

Low was taken into custody and transported to the Beckham County Detention Center.
