As the Canute High School Trojans keep their eyes on the state tournament, they won a tight game against the Roff Tigers last Friday.
The Canute boys came out ahead 3-4.
The Trojans scored in the second inning on an error.
They then put two more runs on the board in the the third inning after both Teague Farris and Brance Simpson had RBI singles.
Clay Randall was the Canute starting pitcher with six strikeouts and no walks.
Simpson led the Canute batters with three hits.
