This coming Saturday, 4/1, beginning at 12:00 p.m., the Annual HOG Roast Benefit dinner will be held for the Erick Little League at the Erick Community Building. They will be serving BBQ and all of the trimmings. Cost is by donation only, so come on out and enjoy some great food and help support the kids during this season’s summer league. Throughachance meeting with a woman getting her nails done in a quirky little art supply shop one afternoon while in OKC, they now have some of their beautiful cutting and charcuterie boards, some with gorgeous turquoise inlay, on display for purchase In the National Cowboy and WesternHeritageGiftShop! Theladygettingamanicurewasnone other than Cathy Keating, former First Lady of Oklahoma. She introduced them to Laney Carey, the manager of the gift shop at the museum and they were asked to bring some of their pieces to more or less audition to even be in the shop. This is such an honor and reflects the talent and hard work put in these beautiful boards.
Our sympathy is with the family of Wileta Marie Wurdeman, age 80, who passed away Friday, 3/24, at Chatham Nursing in Elkin, NC. Sevices were pending at the time of this column’s deadline.
