From all that I saw and have heard, the Purple People Eater Fest was another great success! This weekend, Saturday, 10/5, Sam’s Town on 66 is hosting “Sam’s 2nd Annual Fest” this coming Saturday, 10/5, from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. that evening. There will be a cookout with all proceeds going to Toys for Tots. Lots of activities and fun for everyone are planned for the evening including music and Karaoke, storytelling, horseshoes and corn-hole games. Tours of this unique place that Sam Hagan has created, being described as a journey through history and art, will also be available. If you would like to bring a side dish or dessert to the cookout, feel free! Also, bring your own beverages, blankets or chairs, but please remember that you are responsible for your own belongings and children.
