A 30-year-old Elk City man has been charged with malicious injury to property over $1,000.
The investigation began at 9:48 am on September 23 when the Elk City Police Department was requested to help remove a subject from the Holiday Inn Express.
Upon arrival, the reporting officer saw a second ECPD officer speaking with Daniel Smith, who was reportedly sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot.
The reporting party was inside the hotel.
This woman claimed Smith had sent her photos deflating the tires of another person’s vehicle. Smith had also allegedly kicked and scratched the vehicle’s door.
After the officers told Smith that there is security video of him damaging the vehicle, he allegedly admitted to damaging the vehicle.
