The Sayre Lady Eagles came home last week as the consolation champs from the Hinton Tournament.
The girls played five games.
They beat Geary 3-2, but then took a small loss to Binger- Oney.
However, they came out swinging against Amber- Pocasset with a 14-1 loss.
The Drummond Lady Bulldogs handed the Lady Eagles a 3-8 loss.
The final win against Hammon-Calumet was 8-1 and earned the Sayre girls the consolation champ title.
Laney Easter and Paisen Damron both had hits that got runners across the plate at important times.
Damron led with three hits. Easter, Damron, Lexi Snyder and Gracie Myers had RBIs.
Payton Ewer got the win at the plate.
