An arrest warrant was issued for a 20-year-old Elk City man through the Beckham County District Court on April 17.

Jaquay Waylan Ivory was charged with one count of aggravated child pornography.

The investigation began on November 23 when an Elk City Police Department officer requested a detective take photographs of alleged injuries sustained to a 17-year-old juvenile female.

The female reportedly said she received the alleged injuries during an alleged assault from her boyfriend, Ivory.

Ivory was reportedly in the ECPD’s book-in area and reportedly said that he did not harm the female.

“Ivory said he had video footage on his cellular device containing evidence she caused harm to herself, and he recorded the altercation,” the detective wrote.

The detective reportedly told Ivory that the video footage from the cellular device could be forensically downloaded if he wished. Still, Ivory said he did not want any of the other contents in the device viewed because there might be “other stuff on there.”

“Subsequently, he denied consent for a forensic download,” the detective wrote.

The female allegedly said that she was worried about leaving Ivory because “he had multiple explicit photographs and recorded videos of her on his personal cell phone,” and she was “concerned Ivory would send them to her family and/or post them to social media sites if she ever left the relationship.”

The cell phone was reportedly seized then, and a legal search warrant was sought.

After reviewing the contents of Ivory’s cell phone, the detective reportedly recovered 140 items that allegedly met the requirement of child pornography due to the female’s age.
