School is back in session now! Everyone can look forward to fall baseball, basketball, volleyball, and numerous other school activities once again to keep everyone busy and worn out-LOL! All I know is that this means fall weather is also on the way eventually, even though we can’t feel it right now!
There will be news coming about the City of Erick sponsored 2024 Purple People Eater Fest soon. They are planning a parade, flea market, movie night, street dance and a pancake breakfast to celebrate. I need to gather more details as far as times etc.., but I do know that they are accepting entries for the parade at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, 9/28. Entries can be floats, vehicles, bands, animals, tractors, or even walking and bicycles. Call City Hall at 580-5263924 for more details.
