An arrest warrant was issued on August 12 for a 45-year-old Sayre man after being charged with three counts of drug trafficking. The probable cause affidavit does not make clear when the investigation actually began, but does state that investigators reportedly used a confi dential informant to conduct a controlled purchase on April 22. The CIA reportedly returned with 62.50 grams of what was believed to be methamphetamine.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation’s laboratory performed chemical analysis and confirmed that the substance was methamphetamine, the report states.
On another occasion, a CI was reportedly used to again allegedly purchase illegal drugs from Livingston.
On this occasion, the amount was reportedly 30 grams.
On a third occasion, the CI reportedly purchased 28.36 grams of suspected methamphetamine.
