Nick Archer threw out the ceremonial first pitch Thursday morning.
Arnold Lankford threw out the first pitch of the Friday night game.

Info about the catcher award: First annual Thomas McAlpine catcher award. Thomas was a standout catcher at Western Oklahoma State College before he went on to play professional baseball. After playing he coached at WOSC and the S.W. Shockers. He lost his life in an auto accident last year. Thomas will always be remembered for his contagious smile and laugh. He never met a stranger and loved everyone.
