Oklahoma Native Brings Hollywood Magic to State with Enchanting Christmas Feature Film

[Los Angeles, CA] – This holiday season, the magic of Christmas meets the allure of Hollywood as distinguished Oklahoma native Clayton Guiltner returns to the state to produce the heartwarming Christmas feature film “Hope’s Hollywood Christmas.”

The title character, Hope Davis, is played by Oklahoma resident Lisa Fenimore (American Underdog, The Story Behind the Story). Fenimore is teamed with Los Angeles native Charlie Wood (Billionaire Daddy, I Wish It Were You) and Claire Montgomery (Reagan: From Movie Star to President, Christmas with the Foxes). The production includes more than 70 state residents both in front of and behind the camera. Filming is taking place this month at multiple locations across the state.

Expressing his excitement about the project, Guiltner remarked, “I am thrilled to bring this production to Oklahoma. Back when I graduated from the University of Oklahoma, there were limited film opportunities in the state. Individuals like myself typically had to move to New York or Los Angeles to find work. New film incentives have opened the doors to expand opportunities for Oklahoma residents looking to dive into the world of film, and I am excited to be able to tap into the state’s growing talent pool.”

“Hope’s Hollywood Christmas is a poignant story that will resonate with a wide audience,” said Guiltner. “I think it has the potential to quickly become a holiday classic.”

Since graduating from OU around 15 years ago, Clayton has become an award-winning creative producer and entertainment business professional. He has worked in the industry for close to thirty years as a producer and writer- director of theatre and film. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Directing, a Master of Arts in Business Leadership, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre. Clayton has directed and produced numerous live stage productions, musicals, TV mini-series, short films, industrials, and more. Clayton is a lifetime member of the Director’s Unit at the historic Actors Studio, where he has been mentored by the late Martin Landau and Lou Antonio. He is the Hollywood campus Lead Faculty and Faculty Council for the Entertainment Business program at the renowned Los Angeles Film School, where he brings his decades of experience in building and leading creative teams to the next generation of producers and creators.
