Block Party Dedicated to ECPD and ECFD

The next Block Party will take place Friday, Aug. 2nd, at 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., at The Block on 66, which is behind the Elk City Chamber of Commerce building downtown. The event is sponsored by the Elk City Chamber of Commerce, as well as other local businesses.

The Elk City Police Department and Elk City Fire Department meet and greet will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Come out to meet these local first responders and give them thanks for the jobs they do for the community.

There will be live music, food trucks, inflatables, and a car cruise. Since this is also Oklahoma’s Tax-Free weekend, the participating merchants will remain open until 7 p.m., so take advantage of no taxes on certain items and get ready for back-to-school.

Come out and enjoy hearing Hunter Thomas and Bottom of the Barrel as they play throughout the evening. This is a good time to be a part of the community, meet and greet local first responders, and support local small businesses.
