Elk City woman charged with distribution of fentanyl

An arrest warrant was issued for a 34-year-old Elk City woman in Beckham County District Court on July 15 for alleged fentanyl distribution.

The investigation began on March 21, 2024, when an agent from the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics allegedly conducted a “controlled purchase” of the drug from Rachel Elrod.

A confidential informant was used to accomplish this, according to the report.

Through this investigation, the agent alleges that Elrod sold .09 grams of fentanyl.
