A 54-year-old sex offender has been charged with violating the sex offender registration.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Adelbert Lawrence Strom.
The investigation began on June 17, 2024, when a probation officer contacted Elk City Police to inform them that Strom had been released from the Washita County jail.
The PO requested that the ECPD let him know if and when Strom updated the registration.
A week later, the same PO told police that Strom was “living in a field at Triggers.”
Strom was reportedly homeless without somewhere to go.
Strom did not register as required.
