Arrest warrants were issued last week in the Beckham County District Court last week for an Elk City couple after police say they found stolen items and controlled substance within their home.
Bryan Pfeil has been charged with second-degree burglary.
Amber Cape has been charged with child neglect and accessory to a felony.
The investigation began on April 26, 2024, when an Elk City Police Department detective was contacted about a reported burglary that had allegedly occurred on the 400 block of McArthur.
The detective wrote that he processed the scene and “took inventory of all the stolen firearms and serial numbers.”
The detective wrote that some of the reported stolen items were sold to a person who contacted police as a cooperating witness.
Pfeil was allegedly the seller of these items.
The detective was able to get a search warrant for the home of Pfeil and Cape, which is on the same block as the reported burglary.
The search allegedly turned up methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
Because a minor child lives in the home, Cape was charged with child neglect.
Cape was also charged as an accessory to the alleged burglary.
Pfeil was charged with second-degree burglary.
