A 44-year-old Sayre woman is being held on a $100,000 bond in the Beckham County Detention Center after being charged with drug traffi cking in the Beckham County District Court on July 2.
However, the investigation began months earlier on March 13, 2024, according to court documents.
An agent with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics had reportedly conducted a “controlled purchase of suspected methamphetamine” from Alicia Jean Kennedy through a confidential informant. The CI was reportedly given $1,100 through the Official Advancement Funding. Law enforcement records serial numbers on the bills used in these transactions, the report states.
The CI then reportedly went to Kennedy’s residence in Sayre, located on the 300 block of East Noble Avenue. An undercover agent reportedly drove the CI to Kennedy’s home.
Kennedy then allegedly had the UC to drive to the Dollar General store in Sayre.
Kennedy then reportedly exited the store and asked the undercover agent to take her to another Sayre business.
“Kennedy walked south to a storage facility, where she met with a male subject, later identified as Grady Livingston. At this time, the UC agent and CI were back in the UC vehicle. Kennedy returned to the UC vehicle after meeting with Livingston. Kennedy entered the UC vehicle and handed a styrofoam cup to the CI, in which contained a trafficking amount of suspected methamphetamine,” the OBN agent wrote.
A recording device was also reportedly used in this investigation.
The suspected methamphetamine field-tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine.
It allegedly weighed 124.50 grams.
