Elk City Varsity Elks Slides Into a Blow-Out Win Over Weatherford

Weatherford knotted the game up at three in the bottom of the third inning. Blackmon homered on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

Elk City Varsity Elks pulled away for good with one run in the fourth inning. In the fourth Cole Buie singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Elk City Varsity Elks scored five runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught by Elk City Varsity Elks was led by Aiden Hopper, Kye Keyes, Kash Mayfield, and Catch Geno, all driving in runs in the inning.

Mayfield led things off on the hill for Elk City Varsity Elks. Mayfield surrendered three runs on five hits over six innings, striking out 14 and walking one.

Teasley was on the mound for Weatherford. The hurler surrendered seven runs on five hits over four and a third innings, striking out six. Chaplin threw two and twothirds innings in relief.
