Following the parade, all the Heritage Day activities will be held in the downtown area on Broadway from south to north! There will be antique tractors & large farm equipment to view in the parking lot behind Great Plains National Bank. Across the street in the Trinity Youth Fellowship building, Nelda Tucker will be hosting the “LEARN & PLAY” activities, along with Ranger Kate from Washita Battlefield bringing all of her fun stuff for kids to enjoy. Head north on Broadway for the Sayre Fire Department’s DUNK TANK & see if you can’t help “cool off ” some of your favorite people! Then head on over to the Museum Depot grassy area to cool off on the Rockin’B Infl atables – a 19’ water slide & a water obstacle course. Live music will be provided by Chuck Milner, cowboy storyteller & singer and Randon Folsom, an up-and-coming country-western singer from Weatherford. Take the kids west to 112 W. Main Street for some fun farm & ranch themed sidewalk chalk art, hosted by Suzanne Hylton at the Art Gallery. While the kids are being creative, Moms can enjoy the cool gift shop inside the Gallery. And scattered throughout the area will be lots of good tasting Food Trucks! The Vendors Fair will be inside the cool Broadway Center – which serves as festival headquarters. Along with the vendors, you will find free ice water bottles, provided by Western Equipment, a snack bar, bathrooms and a cool place to rest.

All of the activities begin following the Parade- around 11 o’clock. The activities will wind down by 3 pm and then, it’s off to the Historic Sayre City Park for the 2024 WILD PLUM JAM! Gates will open at 5 pm and music starts at 7. Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the gate. Kids under 12 are free with parents and must have a wristband to participate in the free swimming and miniature golf throughout the evening. There will be great food available from the many food trucks scheduled to be there and this year, GAS, INC of Elk City is sponsoring the RT 66 Beer Garden in the covered pavilion. No outside drinks or ice chests will be allowed in the park!

Come on western Oklahoma!! Get out and enjoy a hot summer day with friends & family! The fun is all planned for YOU and most of it’s free! Sayre’s the place to be on July 19-21! See you at the festival!
