Four weeks & counting! The 4TH Annual Dust Bowl Days Farm & Ranch Festival, scheduled for July 19-21, is set up to be the best yet! Last week we told you about Friday night’s activities on Broadway in downtown Sayre! Don’t miss that ANTIQUE TRACTOR CRUISE-IN, brought to you by WESTERN EQUIPMENT of Clinton! This week we focus on the 3rd Annual KECO WILD PLUM JAM. This music festival, brought to you by Wheeler General Store & Hutch’s, is held in the historic Sayre City Park on RT 66! The gates open at 5 p.m. and the music starts at 7 p.m. Kicking off this year’s festival is Caroline Grace at 7 p.m. A singer/songwriter from Elk City, Oklahoma, Caroline loves singing and playing bluegrass instruments. Her songs reflect the old west outlaw, cowboy and cowgirl lifestyle. Check out her music (@caroline. grace.music) Hitting the stage approximately 8:30 is western Oklahoma favorite Tyler Wilhelm in his 3rd appearance at the KECO WILD PLUM JAM. Tyler is a singer/songwriter from Elk City, Oklahoma, with a unique and gritty style of Oklahoma red dirt and rock-n-roll in his bag. Always a crowd favorite, Tyler won’t disappoint. The headliner band is The Great Divide, coming on stage around 10 p.m. The Great Divide is an American Red Dirt music group, originally from Stillwater, Oklahoma. Under the leadership of singer/ songwriter Mike McClure, the band had its heyday from 19922003. Band members changed and McClure went out on his own for a while, but in August of 2011, the original members reunited for an appearance and are still together today touring. In 2023, the Texas Country Music Association recognized The Great Divide as the band of the year.
