Sayre Varsity Lady Eagles Takes 6-3 Victory Over Hydro-Eakly Varsity Lady Bobcats

Sayre Varsity Lady Eagles pulled away for good with six runs in the third inning. In the third Faith Bales hit a solo homer, Bailey Seymour singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, Neviah Allen singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs, Laney Easter singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Madi Spieker singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Bales led the Sayre Varsity Lady Eagles to victory on the rubber. The hurler went seven innings, allowing three runs on 14 hits and walking zero.

Skyler Sturgeon took the loss for Hydro-Eakly Varsity Lady Bobcats. The righty surrendered six runs on eight hits over six innings, striking out one.

Sayre Varsity Lady Eagles smacked one home run on the day. Bales had a long ball in the third inning.

Spieker led Sayre Varsity Lady Eagles with two hits in three at bats.
