Elk City man charged with violation of a protective order, first-degree burglary

A 21-year-old Elk City man has been released from the Beckham County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond after being charged with first-degree burglary and violation of a protective order. The investigation began at approximately 8 am on May 28 when the Elk City Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Oakridge Drive for a report of a breaking and entering. The alleged break-in was reportedly not in progress at the time of the call.

The officer spoke to the alleged victim, who reportedly stated that Jordan Lee Tiger had arrived at the residence demanding entry.

The officer reported observing damage to the door, lock, and doorframe that were allegedly consistent with being kicked in.

The officer was also aware that the alleged victim has a valid protective order against Tiger.
