The Elk City Elkettes Golf Team had a busy week with the Conference Tournament in Weatherford on April 17 and the El Reno Tournament on April 20.
Coach Rachel Poole’s squad had great showings in both. The Elkettes came away with a third place win in Weatherford.
Brett Barnett got third place with 86 points. Campbell Rainey got third place with 92 points. Caylin Burton got a ninth place nod with 94 points.
Additionally, Camryn Edney got a 99, Jayden Manning scored a 103, and Elliott Rainey shot a 121.
Barnett, C. Rainey, and Burton were all in the All-Conference Top 10.
The girls played in the week’s second tournament three days later.
The Elk City ladies won first place in that action. Individually, Brett Barnett also won the tournament with a score of 76. Campbell Rainey came in fifth with and 89. Jayden Manning came in sixth place with a 94. Camryn Elliott was eighth place with a 98. Caylin Burton scored a 105, and Elliott Rainey scored a 117.
