An arrest warrant was filed in the Beckham County District Court on May 23 for a 28-year-old Hammon man.
Keenan Lee Schweitzer was charged with unlawful actions related to licensed dealers and private sellers of firearms.
The Elk City Police received a message on August 31, 2023, that Keenan Schweitzer had allegedly attempted to purchase a firearm.
Schweitzer was denied, reportedly for an active indictment or crime punishable by imprisonment.
The ECPD detective met with the shop owner and learned more about the alleged incident.
Schweitzer reportedly answered untruthfully on forms.
