The Elk City School Board met on May 13 for their final meeting of the 2024.
“It is just business as usual,” Superintendent Mike Sparks said.
The quick meeting showed that Elk City Public Schools was going into the next financial year with surplus funds and in good standing.
The board voted to approve later setting a time for the sale of maturities on the $1,625,000 building bonds.
The board also approved the hearing and vision impairment consultant services for the 2024-2025 school year.
Employment for assistance staff was approved for Courtney Reyes, Morgan Belote, Christy Buckmaster, Dara Clark, Maggie Hutchinson, Amy Ross, Nicole Frech, and Josiah McKinley.
Teachers Brandi Franklin, Amber Hansen, Morgan Belote, Tyler Foale, and Brooke Mulhern were also hired.
