Janice M. (Francis) Ohmart, the youngest of ten siblings, was born June 27 , 1946 to Brook and Leona Francis of Erick, OK.
She passed away on March 12, 2024 in Amarillo, TX.
She is survived by a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and brother Charles Francis of Williamsburg, VA.
Her husbands Jay Wood and Frank Ohmart preceded her in passing.
Janice graduated from the University of Oklahoma, where she earned a BS degree in business. In her professional career , she became vital to the Kerr-Mcgee Oil company as a CPA in the finance department.
Janice was a lifelong core central caregiver to multiple generations of family members.
A memorial service will be held May 18th at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount, Amarillo, TX.
