A 35-year-old Sayre woman has been charged with child neglect after testing positive for drugs when giving birth, according to court documents.
The investigation began on August 28, 2023, when law enforcement was alerted that a new mother, Ashely Clark, had allegedly confessed to using methamphetamine during her pregnancy.
Results from the umbilical testing allegedly confirmed this.
