A 27-year-old Elk City man has been released on bond after being charged with violating the Oklahoma Sex Offender Registration Act.
The investigation into Andrew Hill started on June 27, 2023. Law enforcement learned at that time that Hill had allegedly cut off his ankle monitor.
The next day, it was discovered he had recently “transferred” from Texas.
Hill had reportedly been found guilty in 2014 for indecency with a child in Texas.
Law enforcement reportedly spoke with witnesses who found the ankle monitor.
Police found evidence that Hill was fleeing the area. Areas involved may be Florida.
