By the time this prints, the Elk City Elks will have already played at least their first games in the 4A Oklahoma State Tournament.

The Big Elks, lead by Head Coach Jay McClure, earned their way into State after winning both games in their “Super” Regional against the Mannford Pirates.

The Big Elks won the first game 4-0, giving a preview for the second game as to who the dominant team was. That was assisted, of course, by nationally- ranked pitched Kash Mayfield pitching a perfect game.

Rylee Boyd batted in two runs while Cole Buie led with three hits.

In the second game, the Big Elks left no doubt with a victory of 11-3.

The Boys in Brown batted in a whopping ten runs in the first inning alone.

Catch Geno was the first over the plate. Wyatt Mc-Connll, Jaxon McArthur, Kash Mayfield, and Rylee Boyd all got hits that batted in runs in that first inning. Bryce Mouse was the winning pitcher.
