A 40-year-old Elk City woman has been charged with assault and battery in the Beckham County District Court.
The investigation reportedly began on April 14 when police were dispatched to a store on West Third Street in Elk City.
The officer was reportedly able to view video that supported the claim.
Emily Thompson is the suspect.
