Last weekend the 40th Annual Southwest Farm and Home Expo concluded under sunny weather and large crowds. The event kicked off Saturday, April 13th, morning with local farmers earning continuing education credits, followed by the All-Breed Bull sale.
The weather cooperated by being sunny and hot, while visitors wondered through the convention center eyeing the latest in home or ag products. While browsing the many booths that represented Western Oklahoma and beyond, there were several food trucks set up in front of the community center that included a tent to sit and enjoy the food. Those vendors were Amarillo Kettle Corn, B’s Brink Merch, Blue Mountain Smoke, Brown’s Grill, Heaven’s Kitchen Below, KT Mini Donuts, Pacific Brim and Surf Bar.
The 40th annual event came to a close, and now is the time to look forward to next year’s Farm and Ranch Expo. Vendors can get their names on the list, while the chamber chalks up this year’s show as a success.
