In last week’s Beckham County Record, an article stated that a Beckham County Sheriff’s Office deputy was injured in an altercation between two inmates and was taken to the emergency room.
The injured party was not a deputy, but a third inmate. Beckham County Sheriff Derek Manning reached out to clarify the error. The inmate was taken to the Roger Mills County Hospital emergency room and released back into the custody of the Beckham County Detention Center.
