Beckham County Sheriff ’s Office deputy sent to hospital after alleged inmate fight

A 38-year-old man and a 43-year-old man being held in the Beckham County Detention Center have been charged with assault and battery after an alleged fight.

A 38-year-old man and a 43-year-old man being held in the Beckham County Detention Center have been charged with assault and battery after an alleged fight.

As a result of the alleged altercation, a Beckham County Sheriff ’s Office deputy was reportedly transported to the Roger Mills County Hospital emergency room.

The alleged fight were reportedly occurred between Bodie Keith Hoover and Dustin Easter.

Th echargesfiledinthe Beckham County District Court on March 22, but were recorded to have occurred on February 16.

The injured deputy reportedly stated that the alleged altercation was discovered at approximately 10 am on that day.

The report is unclear on how the deputy became injured, but photographs of the injuries were taken.

Easter has since been released on bond. Hoover is being held on the behalf of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and will be transported into its directly custody at some point.
