There will be a Kids Cruise, part of the Erick OK Route 66 Renewal program, that will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, 4/6. Registration will begin at 8:30. Cruises will be either a 1/2 mile or 1 mile distance. All “wheels” will be accepted including bikes, strollers, wagons, or training wheels and all ages are welcome also. The start and finish line will be at the stoplight here in Erick. For more information, contact the City of Erick at 580-526-3924.
The Erick Little League Hog Roast benefit dinner will be held on Saturday, 4/6, at the Erick Fire Barn. Pick up will begin at noon so come and get it to go and enjoy some great food and help support the kids.
There will be a “Diaper and Wipe” Shower for Jared and Grace Lindenfelser on Sunday, 4/21, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Erick High School cafeteria.
On Saturday, 4/27, at 10:00 a.m., there will be a wedding shower held for Dylan and Trista Kleckner at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Erick.
Happy Anniversary wishes are being sent out to Randy & Twyla Boyd on 4/5; and to Terry and Tammy Bach on 4/6.
