Brandi (Pope) Thompson I attended SWOSU in Weatherford where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. In 2007 I married Matt Thompson. We moved back to Sayre to my family farm where we started our family. Our daughter, Makenzie is a 14 year old 8th grader in Canute Public School. She is active in fast pitch softball, slow pitch softball, basketball, travel ball, FCA, and FFA. Our son, Maddox is a 12 year old 6th grader in Canute Public School. He is active in baseball, basketball, and travel ball. I taught in Sayre Public Schools for many years while my kids attended school in Sayre. We recently moved to Canute, Ok. where I’m currently teaching 2nd grade, chasing my kids around through all of their activities, and enjoying life!
Matt Thompson I moved to Nevada to work in the mines following graduation. I then attended OSU where I received an Associate’s Degree. I married Brandi Thompson in 2007. We have two kids, Makenzie is an 8th grader and Maddox is a 6th grader at Canute Schools. I work for Presidio Petroleum as a Well Technician, and I’m also giving softball and baseball lessons. I enjoy spending time with my family, and being a part of all of my kids sporting events and activities.
Joy (Copenhaver) Baza My husband Mark and I moved to Sayre a couple of years ago after the purchase of my Grandparents home. I have 4 children, SPC Sharum, Madison US Army 21, Cody NorthFork Electric 20, Stephen 17 Sayre High School, and Stryder 10. I have been attending the University of Phoenix for the past 3 years and have received my Undergraduate in Human Resource Management and in a few months will have my Bachelor’s in Business Management.
Keri Robinson Jones After graduating high school Keri received her Bachelors of Dental Hygiene from the University of Oklahoma. She now works in Oklahoma City as a Dental Hygienist, mentors other hygienist and facilitates dental classes for Heartland Dental. Keri married her husband Justin in 2007 and they now reside in Norman with their 3 kids, Trooper 14, Scout 11 and Saylor 7. They enjoy cheering on her husband’s football team Norman North and traveling!
Ashley Silk Waddell After graduation, Ashley attended the University of Oklahoma and received a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology. She has worked in hospitals and rehabs in the metro area and is currently employed by Piedmont Public Schools and Oklahoma City Rehabilitation Hospital. Ashley married her husband, Ryan (aka Tooter) Waddell in 2009 and they live in Piedmont with their 10 year-old daughter, Finley. They love going to Lake Tenkiller and traveling any chance they get.
