An arrest warrant has been issued for a Mangum man who allegedly stole a pick-up truck from Puckett’s on February 3.
The arrest warrant for 39-year-old Brantley Dale Jones was issued in Beckham County District Court on March 11.
On February 3, the alleged victim reportedly left his truck running while going into Puckett’s to get coins to wash his vehicle.
He reportedly saw a woman needing assistance in taking her items to her vehicle, but reported that he thought someone was “pulling a prank.”
The alleged victim quickly learned his truck was missing.
Local law enforcement worked with the store to see video footage and eventually connected Jones to the alleged theft.
When the Dodge Ram was found, $4,000 worth of tools were reportedly gone.
