North Fork Of Red River Conservation District Announces

Cost-Share Assistance Available

The North Fork of Red River Conservation District announced that funds are available for cost share assistance on select conservation practices. The State of Oklahoma has provided limited funds to our conservation district to help landowners implement measures that address their resource concerns.

Conservation practices available for cost-share assistance include: water well & pumping plant, livestock pipeline, irrigation water management (plant sensors on irrigated cotton and corn), and structure for water control (flow meters). The plant sensors measure the growth of the plant stem throughout the season with the goal of using water more efficiently. The cost-share rate is 50% for qualifying practices up to a maximum payment of $2,500. The district will be accepting applications from April 17th until May 12th, 2023.

Applications can be filled out at the office or sent via email. Please contact the North Fork of Red River Conservation District at (580)928-3113 ext. 3019 to obtain an application. District staff are available by phone from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
