The Elk City School Board met at the Elk City Board of Education on March 11 for their regularly scheduled meeting.
The meeting was quick and straightforward, which was a welcomed change in pace from last month’s meeting.
The board voted to rehire the following administrators: Cindy Buckmaster, Robin Coffman, Tony Chauncey, Jamie McClure, Amanda Friesen, Debra Webb, Richard Moran, Brandon Shelton, Kayla Watkins, Michael Fisher, Haley Price, Monty Mayfield, Kristin Ramirez, Julie Joseph, and Brian Hunt.
Superintendent Mike Sparks reported that Phase 1 of the new seating at the baseball field is complete.
That phase is new aluminum seating. The next phase will be 78 stadium seats.
The board also approved multiple miscellaneous items for the superintendent to sell as a surplus.
The board approved a contract for the upcoming year for the accounting firm Britton, Kuykendall and Miller to do the school’s annual audit.
