The soccer game on Friday, March 8th, was cancelled by the Paloduro team from Texas due to weather problems.
On Tuesday, March 12, the boys and girls played Pathways in Elk City: The Girls won their third game in a row, this time away at Pathways 4 – 1. Jordan Willeford scored 2 goals and Marcella Mendez and Rhiannon Halleen scored one a piece. The girls are now 3-0.
As well, the boys won their third in a row by a score of 3-0. Josias Reyes scored first with a beautiful header; followed by a penalty kick by Braulio Luna that had nothing but the back of the net in its path and finished with a long strike by Kushtrin Maloku.
Coach Zak Stamm for the girls and Jason Xenos for the boys are having a great start with their teams. Next game will be March 26 vs Weatherford, following by a tournament at Weatherford on March 28-29.
