The Oilerettes did what they came to do in the first round, beating the Pocola Lady Indians 56-48.

The Merritt girls faced a tough game throughout but had strong rallies.

Team leader Addison Hartman once again put in the most points with 20. She was not alone, though.

Chloe Stout scored 12 points in the third quarter alone. Gracee Carnes nailed down multiple three-pointers, as did Stout.

Stout scored 15, Marlie Mong put down 10, Carnes put in 9, and Ella Porter scored 2 to take the Merritt girls on to the next round.
