Red Cross welcomes new board members

Leaders in banking, physical therapy and utilities join chapter board of directors

The Central and Southwest Oklahoma Chapter is pleased to announce several new members have joined its board of directors.

Bryan Buckler is Chief Financial Officer for OG&E. He relocated to Oklahoma City in January 2021 to work at OG&E after more than 14 years at another electric utility, Duke Energy, in North Carolina. Buckler holds an accounting degree from the University of Georgia.

Dr. Phillicia Hawkins is the President and Owner of Bodyworx Physical Therapy in Oklahoma City. Hawkins’ love for community service drew her to joining the Red Cross. A licensed physical therapist, Hawkins earned a master’s in health care administration from Oklahoma State University-Tulsa in 2000 and her doctorate in physical therapy from Langston University in 2008.

Stephanie Holloway is the Business Development Executive at First American Title. She has been with the company since 2014. Holloway has also been a licensed realtor since 2009 but is not actively producing because of her current position at First American Title. Holloway believes in actively engaging and investing in Oklahoma communities. Red Cross service is not new to her; Holloway is Chair of the Oklahoma Tiffany Circle, a community of women leaders who advance the American Red Cross mission through a focused investment of time, talent and treasure by engaging and embracing women.

Ryan Prugh is General Counsel and Director of Legal Affairs for Dolese Bros., Co. He earned his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma in 2013 and was an associate attorney at a firm in Texas for a few years before moving into corporate counsel with a Dallas-based materials company.

Jim Trent is the Edmond Market President for BancFirst. Trent earned a finance degree at the University of Oklahoma in 2002 and a degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in 2017. He has been in banking since 2000, holding executive-level positions since 2013. Trent completed Leadership Oklahoma City’s Signature Program in 2020.

“This board is comprised of a group of mission- driven humanitarians dedicated to supporting the work of alleviating human suffering. I’m thrilled to join forces with our newest board volunteers and look forward to the work we’ll do together in creating a more resilient Oklahoma.” said Misti McClellan, Executive Director of the Red Cross Central and Southwest Oklahoma Chapter. “We’ve been working to build board capacity to strengthen the chapter and amplify the critical work that takes place every single day in Central and Southwest Oklahoma.”
