There is a new deadline for items to be put in the paper which means that I have to turn this column in by 3:00 on Wednesdays beginning this week, as they will be publishing on Saturdays now. So, for me, I need anything you want in the column by Tuesday evenings each week, so I have time to put it in because I have a full time day job that keeps me busy.
Cupid will come calling before you know it on Wednesday, 2/14. You need to place your Valentine’s Day orders very soon, so you have your loved ones covered! Selections include fresh flowers, balloons, and plush animals, frosted sugar cookies, chocolate chip heart cookies, chocolate covered, or cheesecake stuffed strawberries, cake cups, mini cheesecakes and candy baskets, boxes and sacks galore, plus so much more! You can get all your sweethearts taken care of right here in Erick! Our local businesses and many individuals are working like crazy to make sure everyone can have wonderful day. From what has been shown on Facebook, the choices are so many that it is almost too hard to choose! I will probably post this again next week because it will be the last week to order.
There will be a baby shower in honor of Karson & Sydney Liebold, on Saturday, 2/10, from 1:00-3:00 p.m., at the Texola First Baptist Church. Sydney is registered at Amazon, Walmart and Target.
Our sympathy is extended to the family of Ronald Charles Sibthorpe, of Erick. Services were held on December 8th, at the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall in Sayre.
