A 24-year-old suspect, in an alleged drive-by attempt, received two new charges after his probable cause affidavit was officially filed in the Beckham County District Court last week.
Francisco Frias now also faces distribution of a controlled dangerous substance and distribution of CDS.
A detective with the Elk City Police Department conducted the investigation, which reportedly started on January 7.
The detective wrote that a “drive by shooting” allegedly occurred on that date on the 600 block of West Avenue C.
Four alleged victims were reportedly in the home.
The detective reportedly uncovered a photograph that was posted on social media to identify Elk City resident Camron Tucker, who has been charged with conspiracy in the case.
In the photograph, Tucker is allegedly holding a gun.
Tucker allegedly confused to being the driver during the reported shooting.
Tucker is being held in the Beckham County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond in the case.
The affidavit claims that Xanax, a prescription medication listed as a controlled substance, was found in the vehicle allegedly used.
The two men also allegedly had “a large amount of cash, a loaded high-capacity magazine and a Taurus 9 mm” in the vehicle.
Frias is being held on a $200,000 bond with a charge of shooting with the intent to kill.
