Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) is proud to announce the upcoming Anatomage Tournament in collaboration with Anatomage, scheduled for Friday, Feb. 9, 2024. This marks the second year that the university has hosted this event, offering participants a unique opportunity to engage with the Anatomage Table 3D technology while testing their knowledge of anatomy.
Teams, consisting of 3–4 students each, can register for the Anatomage Tournament during the secondary team and late registration period, reopening on Friday, Jan. 12, and closing on Friday, Jan. 19. There are still slots available for teams to sign up for the tournament.
The Anatomage Tournament is a team-based competition, allowing 3–4 students per team to explore various anatomical systems, including cardiovascular, digestive, muscular, and skeletal systems. Beyond education, the tournament emphasizes collaborative skills and teamwork among participants. Using the Anatomage Table, a 3D anatomy visualization and virtual dissection tool, teams compete against each other by identifying parts of the human body as quickly and as accurately as possible, with rounds increasing in difficulty as they progress.
The top two teams will advance to championships and will receive scholarships from the SWOSU Foundation, and the top three teams will qualify for the National Anatomage Tournament.
Teams are encouraged to visit bit.ly/3HbGoUP to register soon and secure their spot before the upcoming deadline.
