Wow, we are already in the second week of 2024! Time is going very fast I think with never enough time in each day. I have heard on the local news that we better gear up for winter finally hitting Western Oklahoma! It’s supposed to turn bitterly cold for several days, and possibly some snow falling here too.
Congratulations to the Erick Lady Bearcats for 2nd place win in the Frasiers Bank Cottonbelt Conference this past Saturday (and part of last week), and also to the Bearcats for 3rd place! More basketball games to come this week including the Jr. High competing in the Jr. High Cottonbelt Conference now, plus Homecoming is this Friday, 1/12, with Erick hosting Corn Bible Academy. Homecoming is scheduled from 6:00-6:15, before the games.
Happy Anniversary wishes go out to Bobby and Debbie (Sanders) Poff and also to Sidney Smith Jr. & Janice Smith with both couples celebrating on 1/14.
