Arrest warrant issued for Sayre woman on gun, drug, and stolen property charges

An arrest warrant has been issued issued for a Sayre woman for charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute, a felon in possession of a firearm, and knowingly possessing stolen property.

An arrest warrant has been issued issued for a Sayre woman for charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute, a felon in possession of a firearm, and knowingly possessing stolen property.

The arrest warrant was filed against Misty Dawn Martin in the Beckham County Detention Center on December 27.

On December 22, Beckham County Sheriff ’s Office deputies went to a home on E 1210 Road to serve a Washita County arrest warrant on Martin._ The resident reportedly told deputies that Martin was no longer a resident.

Martin was reportedly later found on the 400 block of North 8th Street inside a camper trailer._ The door was reportedly opened by a resident. One of the deputies later learned that the camper was allegedly stolen from Texas and brought to Oklahoma by another man. That man’s name is being withheld at this time as charges have not yet been filed against him.

The resident of the 8th Street home reportedly told deputies that he had received the trailer from Morgan and the unnamed man._ The VIN number allegedly came back as a stolen trailer from Palo Pinto County, Texas.

During the trailer’s inventory, the deputies allegedly found 1.2 grams of methamphetamine, items such as baggies and scales sometimes used in drug sales, and a rifle.
