Graybill

Allen Donnell Graybill, 81, of El Reno, Oklahoma was born October 25, 1942 in Elk City,Oklahoma. He is the son of Otha Allen and Reta Dwendlyn (Weir) Graybill. He went to walk the golden streets of heaven on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Mercy Hospital, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family.

Allen Donnell Graybill, 81, of El Reno, Oklahoma was born October 25, 1942 in Elk City,Oklahoma. He is the son of Otha Allen and Reta Dwendlyn (Weir) Graybill. He went to walk the golden streets of heaven on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Mercy Hospital, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family.

Allen graduated from Leedey High School, Leedey, Oklahoma with the class of 1960. He then continued his education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Weatherford, Oklahoma where he received his bachelors degree and graduated in 1965.

His first job brought him back to Elk City, Oklahoma. Allen was employed by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation for thirty-four years in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He went to work for Redland Community College in El Reno, Oklahoma as a college professor and at the Youth and Family Services in El Reno, Oklahoma before retiring.

He was baptized at the Church of Christ in Hammon, Oklahoma. Allen married his best friend and soul mate, Audine Morrow on August 19, 1966 at the Church of Christ in Hammon, Oklahoma. They celebrated fifty-five years of life together. She preceded him in death on September 5, 2021.

Allen enjoyed researching genealogy, collecting coins and stamps. In his spare time he liked going fishing, camping, and being outdoors on the farm. Allen was a member of El Reno Church of Christ, El Reno, Oklahoma and the Rotary Club of El Reno, Oklahoma. He enjoyed spending time with all of his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 28, 2023 at El Reno Church of Christ, El Reno, Oklahoma. Josh Basic will officiate. Interment will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Cherishing his memory is one daughter, Auda Jeannene Trotter of El Reno, Oklahoma; one son, Alden LeWarren Graybill of Edmond, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Karla Carter of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Wesley Graybill of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Amelia Graybill of Edmond, Oklahoma; one great grandson, Dwight Carter of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two brothers, George Graybill of Granburry, Texas, and Eddie Graybill of Buffalo, Oklahoma; two sisters, LaTrisha Harrell of Leedey, Oklahoma, and Twila Keck of Fairview, Oklahoma; and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Allen is preceded in death by his wife, Audine (Morrow) Graybill; one son, Dwight Graybill; his parents, Otha Allen and Reta Dwendlyn (Weir) Graybill; one sister, Sheila Barrick.
